    Masterson is getting seasoned to get into that role - his promotion to the bullpen will itself . As long as the Sox can keep their heads above water, I have pretty good faith that they'll at least make the playoffs. I understand your frustration with Okajima, but he's not necessarily a "fluke" like you've titled him. If anything, we should have expected that Okajima was going to be nothing more than a buddy for Dice-K when we first brought him over here from Japan. No one saw his 2007 season coming. The main difference though, is that, for some reason his splitter just isn't dipping at the end. I don't argue about their road struggles, but I think calling a team who won the world series a season ago, such as this one, not a playoff team is a bit much in my opinion.

    My family is actually VERY VERY close to Susan. Lobel is a cock sucker in every sense of the term. Not only does he suck at what he does professionally, he also has no knowledge of how to treat women. He's a douche bag. Just the thought of him pisses me off, especially because I know more about him than what I see from the TV.

    Eh, I'm a pretty big Drew fan myself. Kilo's not the only one with a man crush on the guy. It's just nice to feel right after defending him so f***ing much last season. Now it's paying off.

    I specifically remember JHB predicting that Aardsma would be a solid contributor despite his mediocre career numbers. I don't feel like fishing for the post though.

    Mike Pelfrey is pitching unbelievably well of late. He pitched 7 shutout, walk-less innings against San Francisco last week, and tonight against Colorado he is pitching in the eighth inning with 1 down and still hasn't given up a run or walk. He has only given up 1 run in his past 21 innings or so. Oh, and he still hasn't reached 100 pitches yet tonight.
