Jacksonville's passing offense is also abysmal. Holt is still better than other options other teams have. ...but not as good of an option as Dez Bryant (I have man-crush on the guy, so I'm going to be upset about it for awhile... if it had been an OLB or some other position we really needed, that woulda been fine and I wouldn't be so pissed).

Brandon Spikes, Carlos Dunlap, Taylor Mays, Navarro Bowman, Everson Griffin, Darryl Washington, Terrence Cody, ... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BB, GET AS MANY OF THEM AS POSSIBLE. If we draft a TE, I'm going to lose my mind... even if it's Rob Gronkowski. It was frustrating as hell to have TWO shots at Dez Bryant, the possibility of drafting Hughes/Kindle... and then I hear Devin McCourty come out of Goodell's mouth? REALLY? I'm still angry about it.

Well from the sound of it it has nothing to do with the Red Sox doctors. As Jacko said, you can't tell anything from the x-rays. I'm sure the possibility was in the back of the Sox' doctors minds but why would they publicize that if they aren't sure whether or not it actually exists?

I am completely unbiased when I say that there are many, many people who need to eat some crow and back off Jacko. I didn't say anything in the other thread, but when Jacko makes his own medical opinion on this forum, he ends up correct most of the time while he takes shots from everyone about his speculation. I could name names, but I won't.

No one. I'm just a little pissed so I'm reading posts that disagree with me as "jumping". It's my fault. Apologies. Still, I can't understand how people would rather have this pick than Dez Bryant, a legitimate number one receiver for years to come who would be the perfect complement to Moss this year with big question marks surrounding Welker and Holt (who is basically an artifact at this point). Again, they have a plethora of 2nd rounders which could have been used to address the defense. I wouldn't have been upset if it was Kindle or Hughes or Wilson, but they didn't even take the best CB available so naturally I believe they could have gotten much better value out of their pick.

My point is that you can't rationalize McCourty over Kindle. Not with this team's needs. If they were going to pick a CB, they should have taken Kyle Wilson. What pisses me off is that there were better CBs available. Maybe he'll end up being good, and I certainly hope he proves me wrong. But we need an OLB, and we had a few options. I'm still speechless. And italstallion, please elaborate. You're telling me that McCourty will have a better immediate impact on the Patriots than Dez Bryant would have? I'm also aware of how other teams are getting better through free agency, but this was just another example of how they aren't taking advantage of opportunities when they present themselves to keep up. Please, rationalize McCourty over Bryant or Kindle or Wilson or Hughes?

Because Miami took him first and Dez Bryant is the best receiver in the draft? I'm supposed to know the answer to this question? The way things worked out, any other pick would have been better. So yeah, they should have taken Bryant, it would have been a better pick. We sit around with our thumbs up our asses while our division rivals continue to get better. Sweet.

I thought an ejection meant a subsequent suspension. Guess not, but I still can't see the NBA letting him play Game 2 after that. Of course they'll want to send a message.

They scored 4 off Miller, and you could argue that the first one was a freak goal as well. Good presence of mind to crash the net though.

It was an incredibly display of stupidity and a lack of self-control, that's for sure. You have got to be smarter in that situation. Now he cost his team his presence for Game 2 most likely, because he couldn't hold his emotions together for the last 45 seconds of the game.

If I was a Jets fan I would have been happy to give up even a 3rd rounder. When it was thought that Leon Washington was also part of the trade, I still would have been okay with it. A 5th rounder alone is atrocious.

The other thing is that the Jets were probably going to use one of their earlier picks on a WR anyway.... now it's like they just drafted a top-tier WR with their 5th. Not only did they get incredible value for their pick, they can now address problems elsewhere. Dare I say the Jets are the team to beat in the AFC East? I also say that as a Pats fan. If Dez Bryant magically fell to us, it sort of off-sets that, but we have major defensive holes.

I think the Sabres can win, but if there was one team the Bruins wanted to play first round it was probably Buffalo. They're injured, but they've been playing like a team that can make some noise, especially if Tuuka stands on his head a few times.

Any time an undesirable college basketball outcome occurs for suns, the refs are at fault. Duke needed everything to go right for them to win that game, and it did. Butler was just a little too inexperienced in big games, and came up just short. What a game. If they only lose Beasley after this year and return their other starters, they'll be a force to reckon with next season too.

That's fine, but I'm going to disagree with BB if he doesn't approve of taking Dez Bryant if he is miraculously available at 22.
