  1. Don't say that it's not over they can get a stop and come right back
  2. I also can't believe yeszir got hand-picked by the casting crew to be on the other end of the line when Pedro's talking to the KFC dude in the movie!
  3. Phoenix is not going to roll over for the Lakers.
  4. This subject (Dipre's dick) needs to stop being addressed. All it does is get people angry at each other, then the mods get mad, then the thread gets completely sidetracked. It ends.
  5. It's also happened twice already in hockey. Certainly a rarity, but not the first time in the sport's history. And it happened by one of the lower-echelon teams that made the playoffs. I will say that it's possibly the biggest Game 7 collapse though. To take a 3-0 lead (which is very commanding in hockey) and let that slip away in your attempt to stave off a 3-0 series lead collapse is pretty rough.
  6. You have a lot to learn about negotiation and public image, suns. Actually, Emmz, I disagree about New York. If it's all about the money, he'll stay in Cleveland due to the max contract rule. I do think he'll sacrifice 1 or 2 million a year so he can have a consistent chance to win though. That's why I like Miami or Chicago better than Cleveland or New York. Even the Clippers would be a strong team with LeBron... they can also pitch the LA lifestyle and give him all the credit for turning attention away from the Lakers.
  7. Lots of billionaires would choose Miami
  8. I remember when you counted your own team out too. Oh well, I was glad that they beat Buffalo. It would have been nice to go to the ECF and they should obviously have been able to protect a 3-0 lead in a pivotal Game 7 but this team was not championship material even to begin with and we knew they had problems. They surpassed any expectations, and now all we have to do is wait for next year's team to get 100% healthy, hopefully actually stay that way, find out which of Hall/Seguin we land, and get a full year of Tuukka. We will be a very, very good team next year.
  9. He can also probably play better O.
  10. lol this sentence is hilarious. I guess if you magically add one of the best players in the league to your team, they probably would win....
  11. ... you're not disagreeing with anyone. The point was that superstars need good teammates to win... what are you trying to argue?
  12. I said Miami earlier in the season and I'm gunna stick by it.
  13. Perkins doesn't get pushed around. He'll make you punch him in the face before he lets someone bump him out of the way with their body. Orlando's perimeter shooting is what's lethal though. They have the tremendous inside presence and then the shooters to compliment it. They also cover a lot of the floor on defense to contest shots. They're more well-rounded than the Magic are but have the edge in experience and veteran presence. I expect a big series from big Vince.
  14. Orlando would have wiped the floor with Cleveland.
  15. Sorta, but it's more of the fact that he had, you know... God in his back pocket ... and Goliath didn't. God favored those who revered him in their actions, and David was one who praised God in nearly everything he was able to do... when you contrast to his predecessor on the throne, Saul, it's easy to see why God was on David's side. I could go into much more detail and pick out specific verses and such, but that's the gist of it. (Saul had also given him his armor and sword but David realized that it would only slow him down instead of giving him flexibility in range of motion.) Goliath is the one who never had a chance... anyway, I hate to digress. Whoops.
  16. The funny thing is that those charts don't even really do the actual distance justice. Though the scale is correct... it was about 1.5 feet outside, maybe even more. It wasn't even close.
