    I think it's more that the Patriots are finally playing like the SuperBowl champs they are, than the Bucs sucking. It was also pretty cold for a team like Tampa who's not used to the cold.

    No one washed away our season...just being realistic. It's very possible for the Jays to dominate this year. That being said, I'm not gunna be skeptical about their talents, and then be in for a rude awakening. What a lot of us are saying is merely a possibility. I don't recall anyone saying that this season WILL be a wash, nor predict it.

    A trade involving OF Jeremy Reed of SEA and P Matt Clement of BOS seems to be in the works.     Why the hell would the Orioles trade Tejada away if there was ANY chance he would get spun to us? That's like us trading away Manny to the NL, and the O's trading Tejada within the division. I just can't see that happening.

    ANYWAY, can't wait to see what Loretta can bring to the table. I never thought Lugo would be a great fit here just because of past occurances and well, I feel there are better options.

    I know. I was just thinking this: Clemens Schilling Beckett Wake Papelbon That is one scary rotation. (I think Wells and Clement get traded for bullpen help or in a package with a bat for another bat. Arroyo can move into the bullpen to help out there and be a starter in case of injury to the starters.) Very, very good rotation.

    Okay, then you mean the 3-team deal would be between the D-Backs - Sox - Angels/Dodgers. Gotcha. But I still don't think the O's trade Tejada to the D-Backs if this is what's going to happen. It's essentially trading Tejada within the division and not getting Manny in return, but Glaus, who Manny is definitely better than.

    Bush will go pro. It depends on who gets the first pick. In my opinion, if you have a shot at Bush, you need to take him. Unless you're the Packers, who would need Leinart to take over for Favre after this season. I see the Texans, Jets, and 49ers all Bush teams. The Packers need Leinart. However, if Bush gets taken, and you have a shot at Leinart, you definitely need to take Leinart, even if you don't need him. Then trade him away to a team who does need him for some serious talent in return.

    Well well well, I wouldn't mind Ausmus as the backup catcher AT ALL.

    I don't want Brad Lidge. It would help the bullpen but we need a power bat in return, not a pitcher. We already have a few closers (Timlin, Mota, Foulke), and I don't feel like adding another closer in Lidge who absolutely choked during the playoffs.
