  1. Theo is paid to make the moves he does, and he's paid to do his homework. If you paid 700 the same, then he would owe you a response, but he's just a fan who's entitled to his opinion. It's clear that Theo didn't do all he could to make this team better. We don't have to give examples of what we would do if we disapprove of a move that was made.
  2. Well, anything can happen after the series going on now. If the Sox sweep (like they should) and the Yanks get swept by those pesky Angels, we'll be 2.5 out by the time the next series starts. Wouldn't that exchange right there drastically change how each team would need to play?
  3. EDIT: Nevermind. Just realized Armas Jr. wasn't drafted by us.
  4. Just imagine...after all this Boston Massacre s***...if we played well enough and won the division when all is said and done. That's almost as bad a collapse as 2004.
  5. And Wright serves a fastball right down the middle to Vlad who dumps it into right center plating 2 runs. 3-0 Halos.
  6. What was Damon thinking on that? He should have let the ball drop in front of him instead of sliding and the man would still be on first base instead of third. Fine by me though. Ground rule double brings in the run 1-0 Angels.
  7. They did nothing in free agency this year (Reche Caldwell excluded) and now they can't negotiate a contract with Deion Branch? What the hell has gotten into this team? Don't they want to win anymore?
  8. Exactly..that's what I don't understand about this. The Patriots let Givens get away because they knew they wouldn't be able to afford to pay both Givens and Branch to come back to play. Givens is gone, so now they must do everything they can to get Branch back onto the field with them. It's ridiculous. If they weren't going to pay Branch, then why the hell did they let Givens get away? They have enough money to pay Branch, so f***ing do it. This team needs him.
  9. Branch is too valuable. They need to get him back with the team, and quick. I wonder what we could get in return for him? Unless Brady's comfortable with the receiving core without Branch (in which case they could help themselves acquire a LB maybe?), they need to get another WR in return. I know he was just traded (or close to it), but perhaps Lelie from Atlanta?
  10. This newb mojo is really working. Everyone say hello to Soxfan's best friend in today's mojo! http://www.prosportspictures.com/images/mlb/seattle-mariners/2006/06-seattle-mariners-team-composite-sm.jpg http://content.crazyphotos.com/newbs.jpg
  11. I know it's early, but just making sure that br3ds0x knows he has to keep his mojo going tonight  Looks like the newb mojo is working
  12. The most impressive thing about your post is that it's a run-on sentence that I was able to follow. Anyway, like someone said, this happened during the Yankee series, and Ortiz is still ripping the cover off of the ball, so it's nothing to be worried about. Last night when he was playing basketball with that beachball in the dugout also proved that he's back to having fun. Gotta love Ortiz, even if you're a Yankee fan. And if you don't love him, you have to at least respect the man.
  13. Well, the futures game tickets are 5 dollars as well....
  14. Wow, this is a series that we SHOULD sweep, but I'll take 2/3. I'm very impressed that after that long 5 game series and a long trip out to Anaheim, the Sox were still able to take 2/3 from the Angels. Quite impressive if you ask me.
  15. Beckett came up huge tonight, and thank God it's just a cut and not a blister. I hope this is a turnaround for him and he starts pitching like he should be. If we can get Wake back soon, while having Wells, Schilling and Beckett giving us these types of starts (like we've seen them give us, they are perfectly capable of doing so), and if Lester can just remotely keep us in the game (like last night), this team does have a chance, albeit a small chance, to make the postseason. Even Timlin hasn't sucked as bad as he was! Foulke also looked pretty good, and Paps is Paps. The hitting just needs to stop leaving runners on base, and we should be fine...
  16. Unfortunately. Don't worry. Soon enough they won't mean much.
  17. Thank God. Out of the inning.
  18. Interesting. The Angels announcers are split decision. One said out, one said safe
  19. Holy s*** what a great throw by Pena.
  20. Oh Jesus f***ing Christ. I HATE THIS BULLPEN. (Minus Papelbon of course)
  21. Probably to keep the play at any base.
  22. Alright Pedroia let's see it. BTW, there are 2 outs.
