  1. I think it would be hilarious if the Pats ensured that Vinatieri couldn't beat them, so they make sure that they're up by at least 4 in the closing moments of the game. Or, as someone on ESPN.com said, Vinatieri realizes suddenly as he's going to kick a game winning field goal that he still has lots of love for New England and his old teammates. He knows he already has 3 rings, but what he's never experienced first hand is the look of disbelief on Peyton's long face, so he decides to shank it just for the humor
  2. The Ravens had no offense. I would much rather be traveling to Baltimore this weekend than going to Indianapolis, in a dome. I'm scared of the Colts. I'm scared of Peyton Manning because he could explode at any moment. I'm scared of their ridiculous WR core. I'm scared of their underrated O-Line. I'm also scared that Bob Sanders is playing. Oh yeah, Dallas Clark too. The Ravens were a much easier team to beat in crunch time. Their offense was pathetic. They wouldn't have been able to score against the Patriots or Chargers, either. The Chargers had the full package and somehow the Patriots were able to stay alive, which is all that it comes down to at the end of the day. I still say the Colts had an easier road, but I think they're also a team that definitely deserves to be in the AFC Championship Game, bar none. Maybe moreso than the Pats, considering how s***** they played on Sunday. Whatever though, doesn't matter. They're there. But, alas, we have Bill Belichick and Tom Brady who just always seem to figure it out ... Yeah, well, that doesn't make me any less nervous. I'll feel better if Rodney gets back into the game, but I don't understand how anyone can look at Tom Brady and Bill Belichick and pencil the Pats into the superbowl. While I like the Pats in this game, by no means WHATSOEVER am I 100% sold on them.
  3. You're right. I completely remember that now. Didn't Law break his foot in that Pittsburgh game that ended our 20-something game win streak?
  4. Was he really out during that 20-3 beatdown? I don't remember, but if that's true than forget everything I ever said about the Pats performances without Ty Law.
  5. Does anyone know what's up with Belichick's contract? When does it expire...what's the deal with it? I thought about this yesterday and I was wondering how much longer he's locked up with the Pats.
  6. We're talking about the MVP of the league bitching about the Patriots celebrating. It's ridiculous. Belichick had a legitimate gripe if 1) the Jets tampered and 2) Mangini broke the "code" that Belichick, Mangini, and Parcells all have. It's funny how your hatred for the Pats gets in the way of your thinking. The Pats did the Eagles' flap thing after they won the superbowl and no one bitched about that. LT seems to be the only one that had a problem with anything. And like someone else said, read articles about the Chargers' conduct after they beat us last year. They're so classy, aren't they BoSox?

  8. Haha, yes it was.
  9. But really, who saw LT at the end of the game? I didn't expect him to be that classless. Refusing to shake hands...what an *******.
  10. I doubt the Chargers or the Pats would play this poorly again next week. I don't know what it was, but Belichick will have this team much more ready to play next week.
  11. Also, who saw Tomlinson at the end? What a baby. We go to shake his hand and he refuses to shake hands. Your class just went down the drain, LT :thumbdown
  12. I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets this vibe.
  13. No, your confidence wasn't hated, it was the fact that you got mad at Marty for being confident going into this game and looking relaxed. You have the right to be confident. But it's annoying when Pats fans use that confidence and turn it into thinking that they have a better chance at winning than an equally good, if not better, opponent.
  14. PATS WIN!!!!!!
  15. I understand that this is true, but I feel like you're only repeating this to stick it to the Pats fans that are on this board. We understand it's been ridiculous, but the Patriots have had their s*** moments too.
  16. Oh. My. God. I'm going to have a f***ing heart attack. Good thing I have DVR 24 will come on the second this game's over!
  17. TIE GAME! Gross game, but tie game
  18. This is just a gross game all around. If this is any indication of what will happen next week, the Colts are going to the superbowl.
  19. Oh my God. LMFAO. If we don't score here, game over. This is the biggest gift of all.
  20. ...that was pretty much a take down by the facemask.
