In another group I somehow still have a chance to win, especially after that huge win by the Pats which was the thing I least expected to happen. I now need Villanova to beat Florida and George Mason and for UCLA to beat LSU and finally UCLA to beat Villanova and I win. Any one of those 4 games go differently and I'm screwed.

One east coast team left? Well there's UConn, Villanova, Florida and George Mason so in my book that counts as 4. And yes I do think the Big East is the best conference and going by your method they still have 2 teams left in the tournament which is just as many as any other conference in the tourney so I don't know where you're going with that one.

Well if UConn wins the whole thing then you're screwed. But there's a way you can finish with 158 points if Villanova beats Gonzaga with all your other final 4 teams and if that happens well then that's f***ing amazing.

Yeah I think I pretty much need all my picks to happen and LSU to win the title to win the money. I'm sure there's a couple other scenarios but my hopes are looking very slim right now.

You're right See Red. 5 of 13 from the line especially when you're going up against Duke just cannot happen. That was an outstanding play by Sean Dockery there especially the behind the back pass to Shelden.

That 1st half was one of the sloppiest halves of basketball I've seen in a while. I didn't get a chance to look at the turnovers but there were a lot of bad passes, bad shots and bad ball movement especially for Duke, a lot of that has to be credited to the LSU defense which has been superb thus far.

I'm hoping they go with Edinger. I remember last year as a Viking he hit a 56 yard field goal to beat the Packers as time expired. That kick was indoors but to hit a field goal of that length when your season is on the line is pretty clutch. Now I'm not saying he's as good as Adam but he is a suitable alternative.

Couple of things that are not accurate. Schefter said that it would make sense for the Pats to talk to Keyshawn, but he did not say if they have actually scheduled a visit so they may want to totally stay away from him. Also the Moulds thing was total speculation. A lot of what Rotoworld offers is speculation, so for all we know Moulds could not want to play at New England at all for whatever reason (weather, different division, etc.). I know they're little details but accuracy is the most importance (learned that from my journalism class). That being said don't count out Moulds to come here. Remember the Pats traded Bledsoe to Buffalo not long ago and I think the Bills desperately want to get rid of Moulds.

Edinger was in Foxboro this afternoon before they even knew about the Vinatieri signing. They also have reportedly contacted Vanderjagt's agent. Source: NFL Network and Rotoworld

Paul Edinger from the Bears and of course Vanderjagt are still available. I personally think they'll sign Edinger who is an above average kicker and he has kicked in cold weather environments like Chicago and he goes to Green Bay once a year. We may not have the best kicker anymore but if we sign Edinger then I will be satisfied with our kicking game. Sometimes we have to settle for a notch below the best and that's just where Edinger is. We can survive without Vinatieri.

Yeah and the only thing they're going on is that WEEI report. What they're pretty much doing is reporting to a larger audience that WEEI is reporting this. This article proves nothing.

Yeah we saw it the first time and I deleted it because it wasn't confirmed. It still hasn't been confirmed and I'm surprised it's taken ESPN, Boston Globe, and other sources this long report it. Fox Sports had an article on it but they were pretty much reporting that WEEI says that Vinatieri's going to Indy. So pretty much WEEI is the only source on this an hour after Holley reported it which is a bit strange. -
I can stick up for them and I know many others can as well. Don't you think it's a little early to judge that. How soon you forget this last season. Our entire secondary was decimated with injuries yet we still won the AFC East, it is ludicrous to throw 3 Super Bowls out the door because we lost 3 valuable players. Wait until you see the results on the field before you judge this. It hurts to lose players you love and have watched for years but it is sadly part of the business in the NFL today.

Everyone is still alive although some are hanging on barely. MC Hammer is the only one where the best he can do is tie, but that is probably in part because I think he is the only one whose national champion is eliminated.

I think that 1 out of bounds play was really the difference in this game. They said it was out on Sparks but replays showed that it looked like it went off the UConn player. The Huskies ended up turning it into 4 points after Armstrong had a chance for the conventional 3 point play but he missed the free throw and UConn tipped in the rebound. It just so happened that 4 points was the margin of victory for Connecticut.
