    Sox won today 7-4. Clement pitched well with the exception of a homer (or so I heard). Manny and Ortiz both homered.

Update: Nixon, who is a career .213 hitter against left-handers, will not be given much of an opportunity to prove he can hit southpaws this season, the Providence Journal reports. Red Sox manager Terry Francona said it will not be a strict platoon, but it's likely Jay Payton will start in right field against most left-handers. Recommendation: "I know Trot doesn't like it," said Francona of the plan to utilize both Nixon and Payton in right, depending at times on who is pitching. "Jay Payton gives us a nice blend of contributions. We're going to go with the most production we can get with both of them."

    I remember last year I went to a game vs the Mariners. I was bummed because crespo (thats right, no caps for you, bitch) was playing. He actually got a hit. At the time, I thought I was in an alternate world or something. The guy is terrible at hitting, terrible at fielding, terrible at throwing, and looking at those, probably terrible at life.

    Hes gonna be back. Antoine wants to stay, which is half of it. He said he still wants the 14 mil hes making now. He will not get that anywhere, and the most he will get on the open market is around 5 million. The teams that want him are all terrible or dont have a lot of cap flexibility. Ainge is willing to pay him 6-7 million, but, if he leads this team deep into the playoffs, which I have this feeling that he will with the way they are playing right now, he will get his pay day.

    I would have to go with Bronson as well... hopefully he can emerge onto the MLB scene and become one of the top pitchers sometime soon.

    Payton started. 10 points 4 assists in a 20 point win. In my eyes if he can just contribute like that every night, this will be a great team come playoff time.

    Holy Mother f***. The Celtics completely owned the Suns, 120-113. Antoine had another double double. Marcus Banks had a f***ing ridiculois game, with 2 HUGE blocks, one on Stevn HUnter (7 feet tall). Delonte West hit the three that gave the Celts the lead for good. Danny Ainge and Doc Rivers look like geniuses right now.

    He could come back you idiot... he has to be released or bought out first... then he signs with who he choses. The more I think about it though, the more I realize that the team we have right now is more of a up-tempo running team, and Payton doesnt bring that to the table. I would rather see Banks and West (who both had great games last night, by the way) in there running the floor, than Payton walking it up the floor.

    Antoine had a double double, 24 points 10 rebounds. What a great game for him, and Delonte West, who has 16 and 7 himself. I really liked the starting lineup Doc used with Delonte, Allen, Pierce, Antoine and Raef. I think now that Payton is gone, this team will be much better because it will be much more fast pace, up-tempo basketball. Damn its awesome imagining how much potential this team has.

    You used to be a Celtics fan. I remember you were a fan (I remember many instances, try me) when they made it to the Eastern Conference Finals vs. the Nets. Then mysteriously next year you were a nets fan. Now you are a fan of another good team, the Nuggets. Evidence that you are a bandwagon fan. Cant stick with your team during the tough times.
