  1. Oh yeah, Yeszir, I think you should change the name of this thread to Official Celtics thread or something.
  2. I got tickets to tomorrows game vs. 76ers. It is going to be a great game.
  3. They lost to two good teams, Detroit and Dallas. The Detroit game was a hard fought very close game, and a very entertaining game. The refs were terrible in this one, as they got to take about 21 more free throws. The Dallas game was another close game until about 8 minutes left. We lost to the Bulls, which we should have lost, they played terrible, and with no intensity in the 4th quarter. Then the Knick game, similar to the Pistons game, we should have won, but the refs were terrible. Youll look at the score and see that it wasnt close, but had Pierce played more than 8 first half minutes, the game would probably have been a little different.
  4. Yeah, I think the biggest lead was about 29-30, but the closest it ever got was 9. This game was never really close. Ricky had an amazing game with 36 points shooting 14-17 (8-10 FTs). My boy Kendrick Perkins played a great game too. 6 points 5 boards 3 assists 2 steals in 16 minutes. The kid has been playing really well lately. HE is probably the best on the team at outlet passes, I really hope he can turn into something good. He is still only 20 years old too. Marcus Banks played a great game too. You look at his line and see that he only had 1 point, but he also had 6 or 7 assists, and played some very good defense. That s*** was so close was because of, this shouldnt surprised anyone, the Refs. Bernie Robertson, I think thats his name, called a terrible game. If I recall correctly the last time he reffed one of our games it was another horribly officiated game. Its just disgusting how bad the officiating is in the NBA right now.
  5. *Bows down to yeszir*
  6. Would it be at all possible to change everything back to the left side. It is kind of annoying/trippy...
  7. Yeah, hockey is pimp and all, but not meant for baseball fields.
  8. Hes done it before.
  9. Heh, shows how much you know. They just played for about 5-6 minutes together at the end of the 1st qtr into the beginning of the 2nd qtr.
  10. Haha, you obviously dont from judging some of the things you have said here. You might, but if you do, you pay as much attention to the game as I do in school. I can recall instances from the past, at least 4 or 5 games, where in each one Doc has used the 'B Unit'. Try again.
  11. Doc Rivers does. You would know that if you watched the games.
  12. Well, not him, the team. I would much rather have Ricky than Allen on the 2nd unit. Think about it this way. The talent is more spread out. 2nd Unit Now G- West G- Banks C- Blount F- Jefferson F- Davis OR without Davis G- West G- Banks C- Blount F- Jefferson F- Allen I would take the first.
  13. Any mediocrely smart celtics fan would know that Ricky Davis plays 10 times better coming off the bench.
  14. I watch more Celtics than anyone. Stocker can attest to that fact. Even if you do watch every game beginning to end, you should know the starting 5, at least.
  15. Heh, shows how much of the Celtics you watch... Davis comes off the bench. Allen starts
  16. 11-1 since the acquisition of Antoine Walker. Had he been on our team the whole year you could probably make a case for him to be MVP.
  17. Mother f***... within the last 2 days my bracket was raped. Syracuse. Kansas. Oklahoma. Wake. God Damn.
  18. Its amazing how one mans foot can f*** up your entire bracket...
  19. I hate Gerry McNamera
  20. You see, Washington clearly deserved a #1 seed, they had a great season. BUT, Wake should have been it. Wake led the nation in top 50 or top 25 wins or something like that. I really just think that the comittee didnt want to show any ACC or east coast bias. Either way it was a good choice in my opinion because Washington is a damn good team. They can shoot the three really well with Tre Simmons and Nate Robinson. They also had some great quality wins and won the PAC-10 tourney.
  21. Duke is losing in the sweet 16 to Syracuse.
  22. Elite 8- Illinois, Arizona, GT, Wake, UNC, Kansas, Syracuse, Oklahoma Final 4- Illinois, Wake, UNC, Oklahoma Final- Illinois and UNC Champion- UNC
  23. The hole is just a rumor. Michael Smith was just on Sportcenter and he said he is getting heart surgery but it is unclear what it is for at this point.
  24. Paul played well. He had 20 poitns while shooting 7 of 15 and only going to the line 3 times. He shot like 4-6 from 3s too. Gary did come up with that huge steal at the end of the game. Antoine did have that huge block + pass to Tony Allen who sunk the jumper at the halftime buzzer. I think it was a good game all around. There was a nice article in the Globe today by Peter May I believe. He said why the division is a lock right now. Namely that Philly hasnt been able to gell together, they have a significantly tougher schedule (theyre going out west for the Lakers Kings and Suns or Spurs I believe), and the Celtics schedule is basically terrible. HE basically said that the Celts would have to have a huge letdown to lose the division. Easy win coming tonight vs. the Bobcats I would hope. Just as long as they come out and play hard and make the easy layups (unlike the Atlanta game, which they still won)
  25. OH! Another idea. We could like... have a yahoo group for picking the NCAA Tournament, everyone does that...
