    I brought up the possibilty of instead of Beltran the Yankees should go get some pitching. Mussina - not an ace declining Brown- great pitcher, staying the same Vazquez- should only get better Loaiza- this guy sucks Hernadez- can he keep this up? probably injury prone though If you look at the staff of the Yankees it isn't great, but it still is decent enough to compete in October. The Yankee have a ton of "names". Brown, Vazquez, and Hernadez are the Yankees 1-2-3. Does that really scare you? They'd be better off letting someone else sign Beltan, and getting 2 pitchers such as the best young lefty in Odalis Perez (the Sox should definatly pursue this guy), and a Clement or Pavano. The Yankees have a superb offense, and a decent bullpen, but that starting rotation is the Achillies heel.

    I don't think our bullpen "sucks", it has some flaws in it that are easily correctable. Kansas City's bullpen sucks.

    I think if the pitchers adjusted to Youkillis they'd done it already. Youkillis is showing a lot of power at the plate, just can't get them fair. Enough with negativity already, you predict doom way too much. Arroyo can pitch fine as a 3 starter, because he is getting real good. Wake can be 4, and Abe Alvarez? Maybe if he has a good spring training. Too early for next season though

    Jays suck, Ricardi (GM) is a gayer verison of Billy Beane. Billy Beane is a great GM though, Riccardi is not.
