The problem with Renteria, was he was making errors left, right, and center. The team was also enduring a bit of a slide in May, and he became a scapegoat.
In Renteria's defense, the pitching staff wasn't exactly doing their job.
They play at Lancaster, which is a better offensive stadium than that of Coors Field, so I'd remain skeptical until they prove they can hit outside of the California League.
He's 23, and he's raking at AAA. He's got potential to be a starting RF.
