  1. Don't be so hard on yourself. I didn't post here all day yesterday because I had nothing but negative things to say. I read somewhere that the Yanks hadn't lost a game 7 at home since 1958 and that upset me the whole day. That said, wow. I don't know what it's like to win the World Series, but if it's better than this I may die from happiness. Thanks to all of you guys for the great sox talk at talksox. Believe. http://cache.boston.com/bonzai-fba/Original_Photo/2004/10/21/1098364798_6320.jpghttp://cache.boston.com/bonzai-fba/Original_Photo/2004/10/21/1098364798_5780.jpghttp://cache.boston.com/bonzai-fba/Original_Photo/2004/10/21/1098365064_6713.jpghttp://cache.boston.com/bonzai-fba/Original_Photo/2004/10/21/1098365064_8792.jpg
  2. HAHAHA... Spoken like a true "idiot".
  3. I'm hoping for St Louis. Less pitching.
  4. Bandwagon Yankee fan? How pathetic that you gave up so early. Nice call on game 6 though... Wow. Who's you daddy? How many times were you within 3 outs of a World Series? (Let alone 5 outs). No team in baseball history has ever choked as badly as the Yanks. You know how you choked? - on A-Rods shlong. Biggest collapse in baseball f*n history. :harhar: That is you. You are pathetic. And the all time loser. Merry Christmas.
  5. I honestly have no idea how long Schill can go or what kind of stuff he'll have. I would say 6-7 innings, 3 runs is my best-case scenario. Worse case scenario is a repeat of game 1. There was spin after his last start in NY that he was too numbed up.. I've had tendon problems (minor ones), and I don't think a shoe can fix the "snapping" of the tendon he's talked about. And being "too numb" to feel the pain sounds like a made up excuse. I guess we'll all see in an hour or so. What's the weather like in NY? I don't think I can take another 5 hour/rain delayed game. I'm still trying to kick the hangover from yesterday .
  6. If you think about it, this team won 101 games (so far) this season including the playoffs. It's been a good year, regardless of the outcome of this series. That said, we are home, let's see some good old fashion ass woopin by the Sox today and send Pedro off into FA tomorrow with a big "Thank You" cheer.
  7. Another 10-7 game if you ask me.
  8. I would like to see Pedro in a Sox home uniform get a standing O in his last start as a Red Sock...
  9. I told you all. He sucks. Mr. K. Talk about OBP all you want, go F**k OBP. He sucks. Hopefully he won't be back next year.
  10. Then why don't you go to a Cardinals board, look for the Weather thread, and post your first ******** post there?
  11. Well, weather.com has changed the forcast... Not looking too good. "Rain likely with a few thunderstorms. Low 57F. ESE winds shifting to SW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall possibly over one inch."
  12. Weather.com says there's only a 20% chance of showers for Friday. Ten percent for Saturday so I don't think they'll have a problem with the game. http://www.weather.com/activities/travel/b...?locid=USMA0046
  13. I liked the one about blood squirting out of his eyeballs .
  14. I'm sure it's laughed at you a few times too.
  15. Did you read the Bill Simmons article today. It cracked me up. He sticks it to McCarver and the whole Fox broadcast. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...=simmons/041013
  16. I agree. If there's even a chance he could get hurt even more, shut him down. If he won't be able to pitch at least as well as he did in Anaheim, then shut him down as well.
  17. Well, if the sox continue to throw one-legged pitchers out there, then yeah, they'll get lit up. Take away just the 3rd inning collapse by schill and it would have been a totally different outcome. Actually, say Schill pitched 6 innings and gave up 4 runs total. Would Wake have been in there? No. The Red Sox starting pitching (barring injuries) is better than NYs. I hardly think 1 game proves otherwise.
  18. I really don't feel that bad about it. If pedro loses tonight, then yeah, it doesn't look good. I'm more worried about Schilling not pitching again this year effectively. In the end, the Sox showed a lot of life. Seven runs off the Yankee bullpen (the "strongest" part of their pitching staff) in Yankee Stadium!! That is pretty impressive. I'm also not worried about the no-hitting into the 6th. Mussina's always capable of doing that against the Sox no matter how well they are hitting. He's not been known to do it in consecutive games. That said, it's Jon Leiber on the mound for the Yankees tonight. A split in NY is what I expected, and it is still what I expect. I still say Red Sox in 6 - even if Lowe starts a game.
  19. Fox has no right to make a joke out of every damn playoff game. That was a worse beginning than they had last year.....
  20. Tim McCarver?
  21. Ewwwwwwwwwwww.
  22. Rivera Situation: Shocking I just got that..
  23. They are all poor and on wellfare and sharing the same computer? Or they're the same person :wtf:
