I really don't feel that bad about it. If pedro loses tonight, then yeah, it doesn't look good.
I'm more worried about Schilling not pitching again this year effectively.
In the end, the Sox showed a lot of life. Seven runs off the Yankee bullpen (the "strongest" part of their pitching staff) in Yankee Stadium!! That is pretty impressive.
I'm also not worried about the no-hitting into the 6th. Mussina's always capable of doing that against the Sox no matter how well they are hitting. He's not been known to do it in consecutive games.
That said, it's Jon Leiber on the mound for the Yankees tonight. A split in NY is what I expected, and it is still what I expect. I still say Red Sox in 6 - even if Lowe starts a game.
