    A snippet from that article: I think he's just saying it to appease the fans. I doubt something is wrong with his delivery. I'm still not sure if hes just in a funk or if he's losing it for real this time.

    Hopefully we can count on Schill. If he fails us, who can we count on? He hasnt lost since may 13th, so I'm confident in his ability to beat the lowly Royals.

    I just heard from someone that Pedro has wrist inflammation, resulting from his last start. A wrist injury would explain a lot I guess. Doesn anyone have any official news on this?

    We have the second highest payroll in all of baseball. We don't need more money. I dont care if it means that the yankees spend 60 mil more than us, I dont want Fenway to become "just another ballpark". To prove this point, name the top 3 Boston landmarks. Is fenway in the top 3? Yes. Would a new ballpark be? No.

    Nomar. No doubt. Pedro and Lowe seem worthless now, and Tek is less valuable than Nomar. Of course, we'll have to see how he plays, but I would take Nomar.

    I've never really liked the idea of renovating Fenway so much. Hell, I don't like the monster seats. But if something needs to be done, renovation is the way to go, not building a new park. Fenway is the sox, and it is perhaps their main draw. If the sox suck, Fenway will still draw the fans in. A park like this: http://www.ballparks.com/baseball/american/bosbpk01.jpg Would suck. It seems so impersonal. I dont care about amenities and such, I want a great baseball experience.

    Actually, now that I think about it, this IS true. There have been way too many perfect games/perfect game attempts in recent years to keep track of. It's a good few years for pitchers I guess. Predictions on when the next one will be? I say '08.

    What? Anyway, GIZT, seeing former sox stars anywhere else is funny. No team (save the yankees and such) can comepte with the sox energy and passion. Seeing Pedro pitch in KC, in front of 8,000 a day would be priceless. Unless, of course, he beats us.
