I'd really like to respond to these posts, (well, agree with them with some more stats and stuff), but as of right now I have a long ass biology paper to write ( a final paper), so I'll get on this as soon as I finish the paper.
I hate how Tito is using Foulke in any and every situation. We may need him tomorrow in a close game, and he may not be up to snuff because he pitched tonight.
I'm against major renovations too, thefens. I think the monster seats and right field roof seats are pushing it already. A second deck would suck though. I say get rid of the luxury boxes and just put seats, you could easily get 1000 more seats in the park that way, plus you wouldn't have to deal with corporate bastards getting foul balls all the time.
Yagmaster is obsessed with Prior. In fantasy baseball leagues he snatches him up as soon as he can get his paws on him, its crazy. But he was certainly impressive, especially since that was his first start of the season.
Its pathetic really. Jeter's up there too. I'm trying to find a link showing the standings in voting now (I saw it earlier) and there are so many stupid people up there.
Mirabelli has 4 hr's in 16 games, a hr in every 4 games, or a hr every 2 weeks (just about). If he played more, he'd certainly hit them at a slower pace. All that rest has to result in something.
Oh, I'm sorry, the link was accidentally deleted when I attempted to move something in the html. Can you pm me the html and I will gladly put it back in.
As much as I hate to admit it, I was kind of pulling for Mussina in that game, thinking it would be the only perfect game I'd see in my lifetime. But RJ changed that i guess.
If anyone had vlad they'd be the favorites in the AL. 9 RBI in one game is practically unheard of, plus he's got a cannon for a right arm. He really was vastly underrated in Montreal, and now that hes on a more popular team he'll finally get the attention he deserves from fans. This was just a step on the path to greatness...
