I only know for sure that I'm going to one game, the second home one against the yankees. Hopefully I'll be able to bum some off of my season-ticket holding friends...fingers crossed. Who got lucky in the waiting rooms?

How can anyone not like Ortiz? I usually don't drool over the 300 pound, immoble, homerun hitting DH types, but he's just too awesome to resist.

Sarasoxfan, when I saw that article before I couldn't help but laugh. Of course, the second pedro leaves Boston he exemplifies what a team player and hard working pitcher should be, showing up early for spring training. Of course, it could all be a ploy to get the Mets fans to like him before BOOM...just like he did to us. -
Um, sorry to say but, as Element so rightly pointed out, that's perfectly good English. I'd even go so far as to say that it is excellent English worthy of any high-brow literary magazine. New Yorker here I come.

Your comment implied incredulity at the fact that BC was changing their name to UBICH. At no point did you notice that it was a joke article which includes a reverend commenting on the attractiveness of college students.
