My favorite way is in person at fenway in early September, when its 75 degrees, the sun is setting behind me and the sox are winning. -

Julio something. I forget the last name. He came to the sox and toiled at AAA, and we sent cash and a player to be named later who I forget as well. No one of note.

I think its funny that Nixon goes out of his way to rub pine tar all over his helmet. Whatever purpose it serves is obviously a facade. He just thinks it looks cool

Giants fans can't stop drooling over Schmidt. They treat him like a savior, and many claim he's the best pitcher in baseball. We certainly can't go wrong by getting Schmidt, but it's not clear if he can provide the best immediate help / bang for the buck to the sox right now.

Right, Nevin is saying he wants to wait to get back to San Diego so he can talk to his family in person before making a decision. I can't blame the guy, Baltimore isn't exactly close to SD.

The D-Rays don't seem to have good luck with prospects. Josh Hamilton was a drug-related bust, and now this. I remember whne he was "discovered" or something. There was an article about how he came from a dirt poor family in Louisiana or Alabama or something, and how baseball was basically his life.

That's Cashman's problem! Durrr. I'd lose the 'win now at all costs' attitude and stop spending money on the best available. I won't call it rebuilding, but lets say I would plan with an eye for the future.
