Well, yesterday someone was mudered in Brockton. I guess thats the only downside to these games...its not exactly a great city.

Well, Calvnhobs6 and I had a hankerin' for some baseball today. Alas, it was an offday, and none was to be had at the major league level. So we hopped on 95 south to Brockton, paid our 8 bucks for Box seats, and watched Oil Can Boyd get the win for the Rox against the Elmira something or others. Good times were had by all. Here you can see the beautiful field and stadium down in Brockton. Did you actually read what he had to say? He made some valid points. And he was far from saying your team sucks. He may have overvalued Cruz, I'll give you that, but I see nothing wrong with the other things he had to say.

You guys use this argument for EVERYTHING that portrays you in a bad light. "Waaaaahhhh, he's a SOX fan, THAT's why!"

Exactly. It would suck to rush someone with as much potential as Papelbon. I'd want him to fully develop his pitches before making regular starts for us, so he can be most effective. Rushed prospects are never fun.
