Bogey is trending downward. I thought that for sure this would be a breakout season for him. For now, I'm wrong.

.280/.331/.844...not good enough I guess.

There are maybe 3-4 guys in the league any year that can compete for MVP, maybe 7-8 that can compete for one of the batting titles, not 7-8 per team.

Yup, but not so long ago he was .358 or higher. That's called "trending downward" in today's lingo.

he just lobs it into the strikezone these days.

Not it's his cutter--cut fastball--which hitters love almost as much as he does. Also, he seems to hate to throw anything low in the zone.

Let's fact it. Our rotation ain't up to par these days. Pom to be expected, but Sale and now Price?

Are you really surprised with price? He stinks in a big spot. I am starting to get the same vibe with sale. Yankees will take advantage this weekend with this team getting owned by the astros.

A very expensive joke and joke that leaves you crying your ass off.

What a waste of money. The guy’s an expensive joke.

Whew! This game is being broadcasted on FOX tonight. FOX hasn't been available on my cable since January because of a contract dispute. Fortunately, it's on my XTRA INNINGS package. In the past if the game was on FOX, it would be blacked out on EXTRA INNINGS.

Actually it's not where I am. I'm being subjected to women's golf until the golf is over. Then they'll be switching to the baseball game. Ughhhhhhhh!

I am trying to find a comparison with these Red Sox teams the last couple of years. It can’t be the Braves of the 90s because those teams advance past the divisional round.

And 58 games is called less than half a season. I don't think there was any chance of XB maintaining .358 for a season. But I don't think we will be talking about a disappointing year for XB leading to the demise of the 2018 Red Sox. If the rotation does not step up now that will have us wondering.

Man oh man. So that means the LPGA out negotiated MLB for national broadcast rights with Fox???? We are only getting the game here because we are a Red Sox market?? Holy jumpin' Jesus!
