This is pretty gruesome. It reminds me of Tony Conigliaro.

 

I hope that there is no damage to his eye.

 

It looks like it will be a long road to recovery for Stanton. I doubt that the Marlins will be moving him now in the off season.

 

I hope that he makes a complete recovery. I know that it's part of the game. It's just awful to see someone getting hit in the face by an 88 mph projectile.
