Not as much as youd think. There is no way to prove the signature is from 1973 and I am not sure the year he signed it makes a difference because in the end, a signature is a signature.

 

I collect cards (older ones) and other hobby sets, and this is what I will tell you.......

 

It does not matter what a price guide says its worth, because in the end, its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

 

If Beckett or Tuff Stuff say that baseball is worth 300 dollars, but you try to sell it on ebay.....and the highest bidder is 120 dollars and other similar items are going for 100-150 dollars.....then in reality, its not worth 300 dollars, because nobody is willing to pay that.

 

Ebay is actually a great way of gauging value. Look for similar items to the ones you have and what people are offering for them.

Check out Ebay. See what other similiar items are going for. Make it a Buy It Now option at your own price, do not auction it off.
