He's one of the best offensive weapons of all time. He may suck now, but he is a sure fire 1st ballot HOFer. Thats like saying Jerry Rice sucks right now. Of course he does, he's 44 yrs old

He's the most skilled WR of all time, and the closest thing there is to a Jerry Rice. Moss in his prime is superior to all other receivers in this history of the game. Could you imagine what someone like his would have done in the 80s on the 49ers? Rice was great, he proved that by being a serious threat late into his career, even when he was old, he was still finding ways to beat his defenders. It's not dig on Rice, he's the best, but Moss was more explosive, and more talented, and a more freakish athlete than almost anyone who's ever played.

 

The '98 Vikes would never have existed if Moss wasn't there. He was the catalyst to that team. The defense could not stop him if they wanted. He was too tall, too fast, too quick, with great route running and hands. He was the ultimate receiver in his prime. To call him bad is completely irrational. Like Jacko said, he's a 1st ballot HOFer with ease, and he will retire one of the greatest receivers of all time.

One thing i never liked about him,He does not go over the middle not a big fan of that, He is HOF ,Do not like how he quit on teams tho ,Glad he did not come back to NE this year that was a blessing

Moss is easily the second greatest wide receiver of all time behind Rice.

It would've been nice to see him play one more season though to reach 1000 Receptions and 15,000 yards.

 

A few weeks ago his agent was claiming he was in "freakish shape" and had a "huge chip on is shoulder"

 

Patriots were willing bring him back on a 1 year deal but he turned it down because he insisted on a multi-year one.

 

Same with Jets, they weren't willing to give him a multi-year deal so they signed Burress instead.

 

Maybe he'll pull a Brett Favre so he can skip training camp.
