Countdown to 3,000

[Divinity]

Now that Jeter is closing in on reaching 3,000 it seems like a good time to track his progress.

 

My guess is he'll reach it sometime during the Rangers series next week, would be nice for him to get it at Yankees stadium.

It loses its luster a bit now that Derek is an absolute shell of himself. Love the guy, love what he stood for and his leadership, but this should be his last season. The thought of him languishing for another 2-3 yrs after this one hurts to think about. Kinda like how Ripken held out and was a battered old man who couldnt move in the end.
