Bill Hall. Why didn't we keep this guy? He could do everything and hit 18 homers in a utility role. He was awesome. This team's bench isn't that great. Darnell McDonald is fine as a pinch runner or defensive replacement and it's nice having Scutaro come off the bench, but Mike Cameron has reached the end of his career it seems. Too old. Hell, where's Nava? Wouldn't mind him either.

Is he an everyday player on Houston? If so, that's probably why he left, playing time.

They have a Bill Hall type - can play every position on the field, RH bat, decent power - in Yamaico Navarro down in Pawtucket. He's on fire to start the year (.329/.436/.612 with 4 HR). Another few weeks, where he continues to play well while the bench struggles, and I'd expect to see him up filling in for the big club.

He doesn't. Remember last year, they were about to DFA him last year when Ellsbury got hurt for the 2nd time, but they called him just in time to tell him to come back to the stadium?

He was fun to watch last year. I saw them in Toronto twice last year and he performed really well.
