Papelbon giving up all those base hits in the 9th is just so incredibly infuriating. It's hard to imagine him getting through another year with the Red Sox and not completely losing all composure/value/ability to do anything of value. I know this makes little sense, because his numbers actually aren't as bad as they might seem, but still. It just feels like in every single solitary "important game/big spot" this year, Papelbon has been a colossal failure. I hate that I'm typing this, but what can you do?
