The Rays catch a break as Nelson Cruz gets placed on the DL. He got hurt from running out all of his hits against the Red Sox this weekend.

Tampa is up 5-0 over Texas in the bottom of the 5th inning. Texas battered us pretty good, but can't draw blood against Tampa.

They had a chance to score more runs but Zobrist(I'm not sure if I spelled it right) grounded out to second. Looks like Tampa got this in the bag. I hope Texas can come up with some runs.

Texas is throwing some bum, Holland today against Tampa. Shields is pitching for the Rays. The score is 1-0 Rays after 1 1/2 innings. Shields is through 2 innings on only 20 pitches.

Score is 7-2 Tampa in the 8th. Doesn't look like the Rays losing today either.

Tampa is again throwing Texas a beating. The score is 7-2 in the bottom of the 7th inning. We weren't able to do that. IMO, Tampa is clearly better than the Sox this season. When they get you down, they put you away. They don't let you up off the mat like the Sox have so often.

No, i meant just our luck because not to long ago the Rays were losing games and we couldn't win any of our games. We just played Texas and they beat us but can't beat the Rays. This season though they're a better team. I'll give you that.
