Have to agree with this. You can't wait for a time that might never come. At least this was a game in July. Imagine how I felt when Joe Torre made this mistake in the World Series.

Common sense moves like this that aren't made make my head hurt. Tito was pushing our luck when he brought in Dustin Richarson to begin with, then when he got the second chance to bring in Papelbon I thought it was the obvious move. Nope. Michael Bowden who has one prior appearance this year. Amazing.

 

Yankees lose, Rays lose to the Orioles of all teams, and we can't gain any ground at all. This one hurts.
