He really did prove his leadership last night. The sox needed a big game to avoid a sweep while the Yanks were inactive and he came through in spades. I think he is the next one to get the C when Varitek leaves, although Youk has a claim too

The original post crossed the line although it was intended as a joke. Despite what Jacko is implying, racism isn't tolerated here. I don't have too much patience for ignorance.

 

In any case, I think we should move on and talk about baseball.

I'm very glad that I stayed up to watch this game. I have to admit though, I was convinced that Paps was going to blow it in the bottom of the 10th. I was thinking it would be pretty typical to have an amazing offensive feat masked by two bullpen implosions. Oh well, here's to the team being able to ride the momentum.
