Going to the game tonight

Never been to a Red Sox game before. Any thing special going on early down by Fenway? Was going to arrive about 6:30, but if stuff is going on down there I'd go down early.

 

I'm out in Providence right now, planning to drive to the Riverside green line station and taking it right to Kenmore. Any problems with this idea? Anyway just wanted to get some first timer advice. Thanks!

Give yourself 45 minutes to get from riverside to the Fenway stop, then 5 to walk to the park.

 

Unless you want to get there early enough to catch BP 6:30 is fine. There isn't a whole lot going on from 6:30 until gametime but you can wander around Yawkey way and check out the park since you've never been before.

I'd imagine there will be some festivities on Yawkey Way. Inside the park, probably not much until closer to game time.
