TO: TD - 139, YRD - 14,168, REC - 953, FUM - 9

Moss: TD - 135, YRD - 13,342, REC - 855. FUM - 10

So, what would that make TO??? Dog s***?

TO loses out in yards per catch, yards per game, and Moss only has 4 fewer TDs than Owens.

Culpepper sucks without Moss, every QB on Oakland sucked with or without Moss, and Tom Brady is over the top with Moss.

Their stats are all comparable, but in terms of yardage and TDs, TO only wins out because he's played more games

Jerry Rice is the best talent the WR position has ever seen and while Moss is amazing Fitzgerald is better IMO.

Moss was revolutionary, and Rice was damn amazing, considering he wasn't even that fast. The man was a freak though, god knows how he did what he did. But Moss' talent was something that the NFL couldn't get used to, no one knew how to stop him, they still don't

Posted
Hell yeah he is, I've never seen anything like it, he definitely has a case, he may, by the time he retires have a case on Rice too, we'll see. Calvin Johnson was supposed to be some freak, I haven't seen much of him at all yet, though
Posted
Calvin Johnson and Andre Johnson are both freaks too but their QBs suck, Calvin Johnson is one of the best WRs in the league and he is playing for the f***in Lions, its hard to look too phenomenal on a team that awful...
Posted
Yeah, Calvin would be insanely good with a proper QB, the man's skills are just out of this world, what is he 6'5? 240 lbsish? And he runs like a 4.3 range
Posted
Yeah the dude is a tank with some wheels and good hands, if Stafford ends up panning out C.Johnson will probably be the best WR in the league, being that he has put up good numbers with some awful QBs, and especially with Roy Williams off to my Cowboys.

Yeah, Garcia in Frisco and McNabb in Pilli did s*** after TO, right? Not a chance. Also, TO took the Eagles to the Super Bowl and damn near one foot. TO is just as good as Moss or even better.

I would take TO over Moss any day. TO would never ever quick on a team like Moss has.

Right now, I would take Moss, while I think TO's work ethic is better, there is no questioning Moss' current work ethic and Moss is a better WR right now than TO, although I think TO in his prime was better...although I would still take Fitzgerald over both of em. Imagine Larry Fitzgerald playing on the saints, the saints offense would be unstoppable, they wouldnt even need a defense.

I agree..

Fitz is going to be one of the best IMO.

I think this is one of the, forgive me for saying this, ignorant posts I've seen a while. I'm fairly certain Donovan McNabb is and was an elite QB, that is before and after Terrell Owens. Sure his best season came with Owens' best year in Philly, but that's not even close to a valid point. And lemme see, Garcia actually took over for McNabb, and performed wonderfully. He's never done anything like he did with TO, but that was when TO was at his best, and Garcia has been a solid QB over the past few years

I agree with Emmz. Coming into the league, Randy Moss was the greatest talent (key word) that I had ever seen. Rice turned out to be a wide receiver, but coming into the league, Moss' talent was unbelievable.

I might go a long with that, but my point is if Moss is sooo good. What is TO? Trash? TO has better all time numbers in the big categories.

T.O. is one of my favorite players in the league. I think he's fantastic.

All I'm saying is that, of any wide receiver coming into the league, Moss was the most talented I've ever seen. Obviously that is just an opinion, because talent cannot be measured.

No one ever said Terrell Owens isn't one of the best receivers in history. He is, but Moss has more talent, he has more skill at the position, he's faster, he's good sized, and no one can stop him even today. TO can't be stopped when he's on a roll either, but Moss beats TO in averages, as in more yards per reception, yards per game, TD%, etc etc. Moss only is behind in career statistics because he's played in significantly fewer games than Owens. You're measuring total career stats when you should be measuring career averages, where Moss wins out

I think Owens might be a little better all around though. He is more explosive after the catch, and is capable of running a much larger variety of routes. For the longest time Moss was afraid to go over the middle because of an incident with George Teague.

Unless I miss read what you wrote, were you saying the TO was very good before?? Maybe I missed read it.

That is why I was like "are you kidding me?" Because I thought you were saying TO was crap and Moss was the gods gift to WR's.. So with that said, that is why I was showing you stats of how TO and there are just as good or better. Get me?

Sorry if I totally miss read that before.

That is because Moss is a big pussy.:lol:

In terms of numbers, Moss edges TO out though. Sure maybe he can run more routes, but I'm talking strictly talent/skills, Moss wins. TO may be slightly better all around as a receiver, but maybe only slightly, and it's still open for debate

Ok, let’s debate.

Moss sucks! TO is the greatest talent the WR position has ever seen. :harhar::harhar::harhar::harhar::harhar:

If Fitz was with Pats and had been there for as long as Moss has he would be above both of em by far...

Oh come on....He has Warner.
