Hamilton has a drug attic?

Don't you know anything? He's got a huge stash up there. Giambi often visted for the HGH corner.

Rumor du jour is that Lugo will be a super sub (2B' date='SS,3B,OF) next year. Fine by me, considering no team would take him.[/quote']

I hope so. Only issue is Francona has this huge hard-on for veteran players. I still can't get over the fact that he refused to play Ellsbury in the play-offs last year over Crisp.

Except, he didn't.

So now you kinda agree that Crisp sucks - right?

Just checking - do not want to rub it in.

Ellsbury hasn't exactly set the world on fire.

Hinske was aweful last year - do you know they have fountain of youth in Tampa?

Hinske isn't that good but he had some big hits for us. Casey just keeps declining from his Reds days.

Not the answer I was looking for - but I will take it as 'yes he does suck'.

Dude has hit .300....

He did? I just remember one great catch.

Not that I am a Casey fan. Bench has sucked for last 2 years. How on Earth is Cora on our team or any ML team is a huge question?

He has had a s***** year, however Ellsbury's performance this season is exhibit A as to why I didn't want to hand him the starting job coming into this season. 119 ABs is not enough of a sample size to determine future MLB success.

Crisp had the opportunity to get more PT when Ellsbury was struggling and didn't take advantage. He's taken a step back from last year. But so has Ellsbury.

No doubt Jacoby has taken a step back as everyone handed him over the ROY before the start of the season. But he is coming back - Coco looks like he is done and will never be a replacement for Damon as we as hoped. FO should have traded Coco when his value was high.

How many homeruns? How many RBI? All he's good for is a bloop single here and there.

The purpose of a major league hitter is to not make outs. Sean Casey does that well.

Who's your 4th OF if it isn't Coco?

Complaining about letting Hinske go is like complaining we let Carlos Pena go after 2006.

In a word, stupid.

Not sure I agree and I know Pena has slipped through everyone's hand. Hinske got plenty of time to prove himself. We did not give Pena enough look.

How many times do we need to have this argument?

1. Eric Hinske was under contract for the Red Sox for 2007, Pena wasn't.

2. Carlos Pena was cut by the worst team in baseball in spring training.

3. If not for an injury by Greg Norton, he wouldn't have made the Tampa team last season.

How anyone can fault the FO for letting Pena go is complete revisionist history.

His OPS is over .800, Hinske's last year was barely .700.

Pittsburgh.

Now he is. I would have rather traded Coco. I still don't feel good about trading Moss even though Bay is awesome.
