DiceK down. Rotator Cuff strain.

Bradford reports Dice is headed to the DL with a mild strain of the rotator cuff. Pretty bad news. Jeff Bailey is called up, but I imagine Masterson will make his next start and Buchholz will slot in as soon as they feel he is ready.

Obviously it isn't great for the short term, but maybe this will benefit Dice-K later in the year and hopefully the playoffs by cutting down on some of the innings he'll have to pitch. Hopefully Clay has fixed his s*** and can come back and be effective again.

Hopefully he'll be back soon but in the meantime I'm excited to see the younger guys get some chances.

He'll get over it. It'll take some time, which won't do any good for us but atleast it's not worse than a strain.
