Colts the latest NFL team to "cheat"?

The NFL is investigating the Colts for allegedly piping in crowd noise for their game Sunday.

 

The Patriots wouldn't be the first team to accuse the Colts of this. The crowd noise sounded like it started to skip on CBS, and the league wants to know if it was just a television issue. The story may have legs considering observers at the game reportedly heard the problem, even if it ruins Greg Easterbrook's "Good vs. Evil II" column. Nov. 5 - 12:22 pm et

CBS just came out and said it was their fault and not a colt or stadium thing......funny since there were people at the stadium that heard it.

Was there any skipping on the radio broadcasts?

 

I was listening to ESPN Radio today and they said they went over the respective tapes and did not hear a thing.

I don't know or if there was or not, i just heard the tv broadcast. There were several people at the game though that said they heard it and wondered what it was (some on the radio today). I am sure this is the end of it though...there has been speculation for years about the colts doing this and nothing has ever come of it. I guess you really would have to 'catch them in the act' as it's nearly impossible to prove after the fact.

This reminds me of the guy who controlled the air vents at the Metrodome. He later admitted that the year the Twins won the World Series, he used to have the air blowing from home plate towards the outfield when the Twins batted, and when the Braves batted he turned the vents so that the air blew in from the outfield towards home plate.

 

As that was a seven game series, it could well have been decided by his actions.

Something with the metrodome then becuase yesterday they admitted to pumping in crowd noise during the 90's for the viks games
