i just read that... while he may have some flawed opinions and he isnt always right, i think simmons is always a great read.

Eh... he's alright. He's funny sometimes but I don't think he's all that great. I was at the game he took those pictures at and I was standing outside of the stadium waiting to get in so I was looking to see if I got into a picture... haven't seen me, though. I remember wondering what the f*** Throwback Tuesday means.

My brother and I took in a game down there and it was GREAT!, First off $22 tickets, free parking, hot women, and mostly Red Sox fans. The stadium has alot of great "little things" like picnic tables in the bleachers, and bars which you can stand at, watch the game and eat your dogs. I live in GA, so I'm trying to get my brothers to come back down for the 9/21-23 series, because it should be right around clinch time.

I went there this summer with some of my family members and it's really a cool little place, with all the Red Sox fans there of course. It was the only game in the July series that they lost there, but it was still a really good time. Besides the guy next to me who, when the crowd said "let's go sox" would say "they suck" RIGHT next to my three year old step(?)- cousin, but that's another subject.

 

Bill Simmons is an okay read. He's one of those sometimes funny, sometimes not so funny type of reads. I haven't read any of his stuff lately because basketball doesn't interest me all that much, but oh well.
