Bad call by the umps. Youk touched the grass becuase his momentum carried him there after the ball was gone. Youk was in line with 3rd when arod tried to tag him.....figured it was coming though becuase we are in the toilet

actually i believe the rule is you can't go out of the baseline to avoid a tag. Youk was not out when arod tried to tag him, his momentum carried him out (3 steps is the rule) but the ball was already in the air to first when that happend.....by the rule he's not out

What's funny about the whole Youk play, was that when arod missed the tag youk was in perfect line between 2nd and 3rd...after the ball was gone the momentum carried him out. NESN had some good replays of it...still a tough call for the umps and i'm sure they just looked at the fact that youk hit the grass and called him out immediately because nobody had a good look
