Can some one other than a Yankee fan please start tonight's in-game. No offense jacko' date=' it's just wrong.[/quote']

I'll do it now. The only reason jacko would have started tonight's gamethread is if the Yanks lost. So while his team did win, the Sox lost...so no gamethread for him.

I'm sure he'll gladly give up the rights though.

Kielty X-rays OK

By David Lefort, Boston.com Staff

The Red Sox got good news today on Bobby Kielty, who left last night's game with a back injury. In his weekly appearance on Boston sports radio station WEEI, Francona said that Kielty's X-rays came back OK and did not expect the outfielder to be sidelined for a long period of time.

"It's all soft tissue related, which is good," Francona said. "It means it can be treated."

As for the other Sox outfielder whose back is bothering him, Francona did not say whether Manny Ramirez would be in tonight's lineup. He did acknowledge, however, that Manny's back has been bothering him "on and off" over the last couple of weeks.

"Manny's been feeling this for a while," Francona told WEEI, "but he's been doing a great job of playing."

Last time I was in Yankee stadium - Manny hit a homerun to get 3 runs in the first innings and Sox never looked back. I could not be happier if it is deja vu all over again.

By the way - my Yankee stadium record is 2-0 so far. Hopefully it becomes 3-0 for me and 17-0 for Becket TONIGHT.
