Manny is RED hot lately.

In terms of Lugo, he certainly could be a low .200s - mid .200s kind of guy. He only really had 1.5 solid seasons in TB. Drew's power drain is interesting, seeing as he had that shoulder issue.

Yes a career .273 hitter will only hit in the low .200s for the rest of his career

Eh Id say he had 3.5 good seasons for the Rays, but nice trying to make it sound worse for Sox fans

DiceK is going to be gone after the 5th' date=' he is becoming increasing hard to watch, over the the last three starts.[/quote']

I'd let him stay in needs to eat innings. Don't rescue the chicken let him learn if he walks people he's not getting rescued,

My only concern with Dice-K is getting adjusted to the smaller American baseball. If he can and can get his pitches working the way he wants, he should be nasty. But again, that takes time.

He had 3 yrs in Houston where his BA was below .265. Last yr, in LA, he had a BA at .215 and thus far he has hit .227. Do I expect him to stay at .227? Probably not. But it isnt out of the realm of possibility for him to hover around .250.

Manny has not been driving in runs or hitting home runs. I am talking about the kind of Manny Zone in which he hits about 5 Jacks in a week. We have not seen good power from Manny or Ortiz this season. I would rather have Ortiz around .295 with 20 homeruns rather than .330 with 10 homeruns. So once the duo gets hot in terms of power, that can carry a club offensively for a long time.

and let him throw 150 pitches and blow out his arm, like your boy chan ho. Have you an ounce of baseball knowledge or do I smell a troll?

Manny may not have that kind of "zone" in him this season. This is the latest into a season that he hasnt had double digit homers in a LONG time. His power may finally be coming down a bit with age. OR, he could be pulling a yankees.

Manny IMO should probably have about 13 Jacks. I can count at least 5 balls that due to conditions were not homeruns. In other words Manny is going to hit 35 Homeruns and drive in 115 runs.

DiceK is starting to piss me off right now.

DiceK is running into the same issue that Igawa was. Except Dice has much better stuff. In Japan, they pitch high and get away with it. Here, you throw high and they'll let it fly. He needs to change philosophies or he will be a circa 4.5ERA kind of pitcher.

I am not saying Dice-K is trash. All I'm saying is that DiNardo is out pitching him. Period. You can't say Dice-K has been good lately. I'm not worried about him, but the results have been there. It just sucks that DiNardo is shutting us down while Dice-K isn't shutting the A's down.

Yep what he does in his first year will be what he does for the rest of his Sox career

I think he will be a good pitcher, but I don't see the 97 MPH I was told about all winter that would enable him to be a dominint ace. I could be wrong and he may win multiple Cy Youngs but I don't see it right now.
