Agreed. Wake is a great #5 to have as he will win 50% of his starts and give you 180-200 innings like clockwork.

Our rotation is pretty solid when our number 5 guy is going to be either Wakefield or Lester. Look out American League because the Sox are going to give all you teams a run for it this year guaranteed. With a pithing staff like how can you not be confident that these boys are going to go all the way once again.

It's more that #5 starters are a good indicator of team strength. Most good teams have a solid #5. If they aren't solid pros, they are probably top prospects.
