No I didn't, but I doubt it was sent. Stocker sent his Wednesday and I got it Thursday. The "in the mail" was a sarcastic comment, since I've heard it so often. There is one day left before Opening Day. The funds should have been received before the draft. It's now two weeks after the draft and the season is about to start. In fairness to those that followed the rules, tomorrow is the last day before before Opening Day, so funds received tomorrow will be accepted. I'm not the one who proposed this league or the amount of dues.

 

So here is our current status. There are eight members paid which equals $ 160. Therefore, there will be one prize of $ 160 for the winner. Only those that paid will be eligible. They are :

Is there any way we can move the trade reject time up to 1 day? I don't forsee a lot of rejections happening, and if they do occur, pretty much everyone checks their team everyday, and can make their vote in that time frame.

I'm in Florida right now and I'm coming back Monday. I have no idea why he hasn't received my dues. I guess it's a little comforting that yours are held up as well... but I'm the commish of the league and it's really starting to irritate me that mine haven't been received. I mean I even wrote in the letter "SORRY FOR THE DELAY. PM ME WHEN YOU GET THESE SO THAT I KNOW YOU RECEIVED THEM. I'LL BE IN FLORIDA NEXT WEEK." (Or something to that extent.)

 

I'm really sorry about this guys. When I get back I'll look into it straight away. SFOC: If you don't have them soon but receive them then just send them back and I'll make myself ineligible.

Therefore, I paid his dues, so Zach you're good to go ( mail didn't come in, if it does I'll add it to the pool or refund it ). I've also added some additional funds to the pool. That all said, here's the break-out :

 

Prizes :

 

- 1st Place :... $ 200 cash ( pd. members only ) and a Custom User Title ( all are eligible ) courtesy of Yeszir.

 

- 2nd Place :... $ 40 ( pd. members only )

 

- 3rd Place :... $ 20 ( pd. members only )

 

For clarification, cash prizes will be awarded to the three top finishers of the ten paid members.

Since no one responds to the other thread, I'd like to get your guys' opinions on this:

 

Since this didn't get much publicity before, I figured I'd step it up a notch.

 

I am open to offers to upgrade my outfield offense. Any of my pitchers, or even position players (with the exception of Vernon Wells) is up for grabs.

 

I will say that any offer involving KRod, Santana, or Halladay must be of around equal value. I'm not going to shop these pitchers for 50 cents on the dollar.

 

Wells is not available because I'd be facing the same problem if I dealt him.

 

Again, Santana and Halladay are available.

for santanna and halladay, i think you'd have to be proactive and find a team who has weak pitching but overloaded on hitting. Santana is a 1st round pick and you shouldn't trade him for anyone not named Soriano, ARod, Puhols or Ryan Howard.

Ok I deperately need starting pitching. has anyone looked at my team lately. I have some solid hitters there, nobody is untouchable. I'm looking for 2 starters I'm obviously expecting top notch if I'm gonna move Pujols or Hafner but there are some other solid hitters who i'm willing to move for a dependable starter which is something I have none of right now. offer away.

Again, I am willing to work out a trade with anyone. From now on, if I receive a trade offer from you I will counter it and we can work on it. If I reject it, I'll let you know I'm not interested in working out a deal with the players on your team. By the way, this doesn't mean that if I simply rejected one of your offers before, that I'm not interested. Anyone on my team is expendable. Ryan Howard will go for a great SS/3B/SP or a combo of very dependable players at those positions.
