W/e' date=' the Colts can laugh now, but we get to laugh next month. (27 million cap space, 5 mill for the Colts)[/quote']

Any marquee QB FA's this coming season? Or, s***, not even marquee...just presentable QBs? You'd be well-served to use that cap space you spoke of to go out and get some kind of quarterback...Grossman sucks and sucks HARD. After seeing what he did in Philly...I'd make a strong run at Jeff Garcia if I were the Bears. s***, he's not Peyton Manning...maybe not even Eli Manning...but Grossman doesn't deserve to look at a football, let alone throw one. I've gotta imagine Garcia will want to start somewhere after the way he lead the Eagles.

Garcia would help the Bears. Hell, the bears only needed a QB who wouldnt turn the ball over and make the nonspectacular throws and they had that game. \

As for the cap space, the colts team is a damn good team, considering they lost 2 starting DT's last yr who are probowl caliber (Simon and Raegor), missed Bob Sanders for most of the regular season, and dealt with injuries to Harper and Jackson. Those big DTs come back from injury at pre injury status and they'll fight the run better. IMO, they need to spend their first 2 picks on secondary and LB. Their run defense was soft as puppy s*** cause their LBs are built for speed and not tackling. They need a solid MLB to back up the holes and one more cover guy for a pretty good secondary. That offensive line, RB tandem, QB, WR's, and TE's are built for another run. They are now the team to beat.

NE has the most work to do. Belichek's system and Brady's balls got them to where they got to. But if they lose Samuel, which it looks like they will, then they lose a whole lot in that defensive backfield. Couple that with the ACL tear that Rodney had and the consideration of retirement for Bruschi and you are talking about a scheme defense losing 3 of their 4 best players. Couple that with the fact that Brady got by with terrible wideouts and you may want to add a weapon on his side. Lots of holes to fill, but with that system and with Brady, they will still be a good team.

Bruce Gradkowski says hello. Chris Simms isn't too far behind.
