Tom Brady, (I know this isn't a baseball thread, please move it to an important place) is suing Yahoo for using the likeness of him in their ads. What an arrogant piece of s*** patriots fans call a hero. This is what is wrong with America, we idolize the ********, yet s*** on the good guys. Fonzie was right "nice guys finish last."

This is an A-Rod stunt. Everyone in here would be thrilled that his or hers picture is on a fantasy football ad, on page 75 in Sports Illustrated. Does Tom Brady have no soul? I believe he is a top paid player in salary, not to mention the millions and millions of dollars he gets in endorsments every commerical he does.

I was enraged when A-Rod said people hate me, because I'm good looking and biracial. I can make a confident statement that Tom Brady thinks the same way.

Now my question is why do people like Tom Brady?

In regards to the topic. Brady would have been better served just letting this one go. He comes out looking completely full of himself here.

I predict that he'll donate the $$$ to charity so as to avoid what you suggest. Otherwise, I agree, he will look bad.

I do not think this is about money for him. Yahoo didn't pay for use of the IP and should be made to stop.

Really? He's emotionally hurt because of a picture? I haven't heard a single peep out of Larry Johnson, LT, or Michael Vick.

Does anybody have a picture of the add? Is it him with the all logos/numbers removed or is it, like, a generic player wearing a dark blue jersey, silver helmet? Either way it's ridiculous. I'm just curious as to the level of his arrogance in this particular instance.

On a different site that had a thread about this...it was listed..

'Since Yahoo has a fantasy football license from the NFLPA and the NFLPA holds licensing rights wherever six or more players are used, we aren't sure how Brady has much of a case.'

idk what that means, but I figured youd wanna read it.

It means that since Yahoo! probably uses more than six NFL players for their fantasy football advertisements, Tom Brady doesn't need to give his consent because their agreement with the NFLPA allows them too use the individuals without each one giving their consent. Brady comes out looking like an arrogant jackass, still. Maybe more-so.

Thanks for sharing that. As I said before, I wasn't sure exactly how it was. What an arrogant *******. Glad Yahoo's agreement with the NFLPA makes him s*** out of luck.
