Question for a moderator

Why was Linda Peritore banned from the site?

 

She did not receive any warnings. Unfortunately it seems that the actions of others have cause this swift judgement.

 

Linda Peritore is NOT Annie Peritore. I understand Annie got banned.

 

Second, Linda Peritore did not post the Seabeachfred appreciation thread on this website. someone else did.

 

Third, Linda Peritore has been contributing her thoughts and opinions, however unpopular they may be, on this board without spamming the board or trolling.

 

All I ask is that someone please explain why Linda Peritore got banned, or please allow her to continue participating in the great discussions on this board. She was particularly interested in the Drew and Lugo signings.

 

If it is her name which caused the ban, then Linda Peritore will change her name on this site. She doesn't want to upset Seabeachfred at all.

 

I am being totally serious and up front about this.

Someone as concerned as you about the integrity of the site would have read the Terms of Usage and would know that sneaking back in under another name after being banned is not allowed.

If the admin who banned me would have given me a response through email, I could have discussed this elsewhere.

 

I feel that I was banned in response to someone else's behavior here and therefore I am asking for an explanation.

The only reason you were here in the first place was because you had a hard on at the thought of antagonizing seabeachfred. Which is why you and some other idiot came over here in the first place disclosing his family's personal information as your handles. Finally, when you were suspected of it, you tried to play nice, but you had already dug yourself too deep a hole.

I don't know who banned you or why. However, we have the ulimate confidence in our Mods and Yeszir. If you had a reason that you should be reinstated then it should have been brought directly to Yeszir's attention. Instead, you rejoined under another name, which is another violation of site rules. This demonstrates little or no respect for our rules and appreciation for the nature of our site. This will probably end up in Fights & Crap. But you will still be banned. Bye.

I understand that, but can you explain how I am supposed to contact Yeszir if the first thing I see on the site is a notice that I'm banned with no means of contacting anyone?

 

This is why I signed up again, with the sole purpose of asking that question in this thread. I respect your site, as you can see from the other posts I have.

 

Also, I've been here since October 4, so I didn't sign up yesterday with the sole purpose of fighting with Seabeachfred.

i think its hilarious that everyone except the admin(s) themselves have an opinion on this and have already seemed to have passed judgement without listening to both sides. from the posts i personally read, linda here only posted on threads re: ex-dodger players and offered his/her opinion on those transactions. its funny that i've seen chokee trolls flaming and getting flamed on this site but someone who allegedly uses a handle that was part of an inside-joke from another forum is automatically banned without warning??
