An absolute disgrace. Hopefully he wins manager of the year, so he can shove it in Loria's face. It sends a message to the players that he's more concerned with his ego than the team winning. I doubt they will respond well to that in '07.

you know, the Marlins have shown that the moves that look completely retarded can pay off, but I do not see the upside in this one. If Girardi gets a decent team to work with, I think he will win a World Series within 3 years

The Cubs are the most likely destination for him, although I think he would be the perfect manager for the Rangers.

 

Bill Madden said he wouldnt be surprised if Girardi had no job offers this offseason and sat out next year. I can see that; but I hope that's not the case,
