i didnt see this before i posted on the pats thread

this kid is a huge playmaker

nc freshman when he came out

mack brown had the tar heels 9-0 when they played fla state

by the end of the 1q both nc qbs were out with broken bones and they smoked carolina but dre bly had already cemented a 1st round pick(rams?)

the broncos backfield is scary and will score a ton or at least make a lot of field position problems for their opponents

seems they can plug in anyone at rb with their blocking schemes and theyll get 1500 yds and 12 tds

their problem is at the helm

jack is just not the man and the other guy is green

I think he just doesn't want to go to Tampa. He wants to go to Houston and play with Kubiak. It's unfortunate if he does retire -- he never really got fair treatment. He never had a chance on those Arizona teams and he got labeled a loser -- then he came to Denver and had success, won lots of football games, and never got his credit. Then he struggled this past season and got blasted by everyone.

Niners sign Clements and Lewis

80 mil... kinda too much for me ,theres 10 mil gone of the 30 mil , still 20 left and hope they do the most of it . if they use the money wisely they should be able to make the playoffs

Broncos have been busy. They signed Travis Henry today. Was very good when he was a Bill, and I never really understood why the Titans brought him in but had a good year (1200 yards, 4.5 per) last year. Could be a great addition to the Broncos, who wanted more of a feature back, anyway. They'll probably make one more signing, I'd imagine. Hopefully it's Patrick Kerney.

Lance Briggs wants out of Chicago

All I can say is that a linebacking core of Roosevelt Colvin, Adalius Thomas, Lance Briggs and Mike Vrabel (assuming Bruschi retires...) is pretty f***ing nasty. Trade the right pieces and add Briggs. That would probably give us the best linebacking core in the game to compliment arguably the best D-Line in the game.

Agreed. But Bruschi stated on Sports Final taht he was definately NOT retiring.

Broncos signed Patrick Ramsey.

For a team coming into the offseason with as little cap room as they had, the Broncos have been ridiculously active. Seems like they've signed, or had an interest in, everybody.

So Plummer did actually retire. Anyways, I'm not so sure that anybody cares but I'll share anyway. The Chargers are bringing back baby blue... kind of.

Not terribly big news but the Patriots matched the Denver Broncos offer to Todd Sauerbrun and will retain him. I miss Sauerbrun, his leg sure does impact football games.

The Pats did retain Sauerbrun? Huh all signs were that wasnt the case because they aready have Josh Miller, interesting

BTW: Thus far hands down the Pats & Broncos have had, in my opinion, the best offseasons... and the draft hasnt even happened yet.

I'd say they've had the best offseasons by a longshot. For a team that came into Free Agency without very much cap room, I'm amazed by how much the Broncos were able to do.

Not sure I understand the logic behind this move, but the Broncos cut Al Wilson today. They must feel like DJ Williams is a better fit at MLB than at OLB. Eh, I dunno, I've seen this coming, though.
