Doesn't it aways seem like Burt Reynolds always gets the final say? If anyone should get the final say, it should be Jerome Bettis.

The dude who cut his arm off and walked back to civilization, saving himself from exposure, has a seat at the square table. He gets my vote.

Not to nitpick, but there was no exclamation points anywhere in my original post that you went crazy over:

If you are going to be the puncuation NAZI, at least get you facts strait:rolleyes:

The Bering strait?

Sorry, the "puncuation NAZI's" were defeated at "the battle of the puncuation buldge" in 1994. Hilter and his genitals were soundly defeated by the Unglish and Franklin Delorian Roastingpot.

Most "pundits" thought this team would finish behind toronto (which could still happen at this rate).
The only pundits that really count are the ones that set odds in Vegas. I don't think the Sox were a longer shot than the Jays at the beginning of the year. Anyway, you are correct that the team didn't look great coming out of ST, but that's not an excuse. Theo didn't just run this team into the ground since July 31st. The process of running the current team into the ground has been a two year odyssey resulting from numerous bad moves and non-moves.

Odyssey is definitely the right word. I feel like f***ing Ulysses sailing around the big whirlpool and those singing chicks who becken me into the game, night after night. "Pay attention... you love the sox! Pay attention... you love the sox"

I hadn't noticed until recently that one of those singing ladies was fat too. Its over.

Way to make yourself look dumber. (You've done this before, as well)

In your previous posts, you have a tendency to add an excessive amounts of exclamation points, which is why I commented on it. In fact, I've actually, sarcastically, followed one of your old post with one that is deliberitly filled with exclamation points. Also, nowhere in that post you quoted, did I say that I only had an issue with that one post.

So, you have no reasoning skills, and can't spell well.

Do you ever wonder how many people associate you with the picture of Luca Brasi (spelling?) you have on your avitar?. I always imagine that that's what you look like and I doubt I'm the only one.

Perhaps you should try Brando instead, everyone would defer to your opinions.

Another tough loss to swallow against the Mariners. One thing I'm really not understanding is the whole Eric Hinske trade. They brought the guy over and he had 3 doubles in his first game but since then he hasn't done a whole lot and he goes 0-4 again tonight. I see him either ending up in the minors next year or being released by the Sox. I don't think anyone else will want to pick him up he's definitley not the player he was in his Rookie of the year season.

"DO NOT. SEEK. THE TREASURE."

"We thought you was a toad."

   :dunno: I don't get it.

(just kidding)

That's awesome. Just awesome.

Well, if we're all on this silly, meaningless, lifelong journey that will ultimately end in many of us being eaten by a cyclops (or, perhaps, Steinbrenner) at least we're all strapped to the masts together. You guys are all great. Except a700.

:)

just kidding 700 buddy!

I think that he could be the reincarnation of Hee Sop Choi.

I understand the trade: they gave up nothing to get a guy who gave them 3 doubles. It is meaningless both ways, but I doubt they PLANNED for him to suck. They HOPED he wouldn't.

Unreal, I point out your mistake and you spin it. yes, in the past you have pointed it out--and then you bring out the grammer police again tonight. In a post following your original you say you can't stand me putting all the !!!!!!! in my posts--which i didn't do tonight. I call you on it, and you spin it.--unreal

You know what, you are right about the fact that i don't have the best puntuation. In fact I couldn't stand English--yet somehow i managed to get through HS and college. Not to make excuses, but most of the time i post here i can barely keep my eyes open (my own business and young children will do that to you) I'm sorry that poor grammer irritates you so much that it takes your focus off of why we are here to begin with. I guess I have always followed what my mentor always told me:

would you rather say: I am smart - OR - I is a millionaire

Are you really this stupid? No one can be this dumb. It's not possible.

Do you really think you have something here? I'm ripping you, because you often make lousy points, make stupid overused references to Alex Rodriguez, you make four year olds look like English experts, and you're full of s***. (See below)

Sorry, you're unable to understand more than what's actually written.

Wow. I can't believe, I actually read this. Do you actually expect anyone to swallow that and believe it?

please explain--the only thing you ripped is my grammer. When have you refuted a point of mine? We all have different opinions on how the sox should be run, that's why we are here---yet instead of debating me, you resort to useless grammer bashing. You ripped me for my grammer, nothing else--if you want to argue a point, then do it and we can get on with it

Dude, it's grammar. Not grammer. Not bashing or anyting, just thought you should know that.

And you have? The only thing I've said tonight is that you massacred the English language. I've called you an idiot in the past before. Put 2+2 together.

See how many times you use "E-Rod." That got old the day after he was traded to the Yankees.

If you can't see what you're doing, then it's useless to have an argument.

I'll give you one thing. You may be a rich guy, but it's either because, you're a heir, or you got hit by a car and got a large compensation.

Actually, I'll go with the latter. You got hit by the car, which in turn caused your stupidity, and you got the money, which made you rich.

Well I went to the past two games, a little dissapointing to be owned by Jake woods and gil meche.

I pimped my talksox.com shirt both days, anyone see me?

Ok, i called him e-rod along with a ton of other people--sounds like you are looking for a reason to bash me.

I admitted I don't use the best grammar, what else? Please point it out. I have no problem with you not agreeing with me, i just didn't care for bashing me because i didn't puncuate correctly.

This just goes to show your stupidity--you know nothing about me and you continue your worthless bashing. I didn't grow up wealthyl, my dad works at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (middle class).....and sorry no lawsuit either. Everything i have and will have is from hard work and taking advantage of the opportunity that living in this country affords me. So sad, you now resort to calling me stupid----you sound like a smart kid who could do very well for yourself in life.....try relaxing! If for some reason you actually care about why i do what i do; read Robert T Kiyosaki's book "rich dad, poor dad"....I learned more about money from that book than all my years of schooling

Didn't see you, sorry. Although i was stuck watching FSN West for the games----must have sucked to see the sox score 3 runs in 2 games against the M's

Ok, i am off to bed. Crespo, feel free to browse my other 1400 posts and bring any grammatical error's to my attention. I will fix them so that they do not cause you any more grief.

Memo to Tito: For the betterment of the Sox please do not use Timlin in any close games. Since the ASB he has done almost nothing to show that he’s worthy of being used in these situations. His pitches have become flat with no movement. How many more games where the team has the lead are you going to let him piss away? Burying your head in the sand does not make this glaring problem go away.

I like when people mcall him E-Rod. Don't stop. GayRod is even better. No offense to gays intended.

Sunday's lineup will sport an OF with Youklis in LF and Hinske in RF. This is becoming earily reminiscent of the Jimy Williams days, when he had Daubach in LF and Jeff Fry in RF. There should be some interesting plays today. Javy Lopez will be in the lineup as well as Loretta at 1B. Yuck! and Snyder on the mound. Also, newsflash: Lester will not be making his next start due to soreness from the car accident. Gabbard taking his place. It just keeps getting worse.

The only thing preventing the white towel is that the Yankees refuse to bury us. They are playing like crap too.
