Matthews is 32, I don't think he is going to get the kind of pay day you expect. I wouldn't go after him. I would rather keep coco who is 26 and hit .330 on the road in 2005. He'll get back to that form.

I was just making the point that a 2nd baseman who will be 36 will not get a bigger payday than a 32 year old center fielder coming off of a career year
