This is amazing, I think it is hilarious how stupid Isiah Thomas is and how blind owner James Dolan must be. Isiah has been named the new coach. Have fun with that Zeke. They might not win 10 games. Isiah sucked with a good team. I love when a New York team is in misery.

Haha. Larry Brown completely deserves this for having one foot out the door everywhere he's been. He leaves the perfect job to step into his 'dream job', which ends up being a hellish nightmare where he gets fired after a year. I love it!

I expected Isiah to coach this team eventaully, but didn't think it would take this long. I thought he would take the seat at the beginning of this past season. But whatever...he's got some work to do, and I realy don't see them going anywhere soon unless they can convince some dumb team to want Marbury, Francis or Crawford (All me first players...you can keep them NY...). Any guesses on where Larry lands next? Or does he hang it up for good, and retire? I could see Bryan Colangelo maybe try to get him up in Toronto, or maybe Seattle. I dunno, I'm just pulling teams outta the air...well see though.

Isiah Thomas is without a doubt the biggest douche in NYC, The way he handles the Knicks is laughable at best. Larry Brown has proven his value over and over. Isiah is going down next. He wont make it through the 1st half of next season.

It think the $40M is to be paid over the next 4 years. Brown is still getting paid from his time with the Pistons as well. The buyout from his time there is worth about $7M.

Heck yeah. If they dont get worse this season, then they are definitely screwed for the long run. I cannot imagine why James Dolan would take Isiah over Larry, or why Isiah is still there. Thomas must be blackmailing Dolan or something. This organization is screwed. And I love it, Go Celts!

Dolan is actually trying to void the $40 Million by saying Brown violated Knicks policy or some crap. I despise that guy. He screwed the Jets out of their stadium, as well as NYC out of the Olympics. He's kept the Rangers in the tank for almost a decade, and took the Knicks from perennial NBA contender who got out of the first round of the playoffs every season for over a decade, to the worst franchise in sports.

Dolan has nothing. One of his things is that Larry Brown violated the part about talking to the media. Basically that consisted of the media asking Larry Brown a question as he left the arena or whatever and him saying something to the effect of "you know as much as I do."
