Alvarez is not going to come up....just shows you how much the sox think of him when they claim kyle snyder off waivers and give him a chance before alvarez.

 

Maybe the Sox want to get a good look at what Snyder can offer by throwing into a game situation. Unless he overwhelms, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him optioned back to AAA soon after his start.

What about Phil Seibel? I noticed his start scheduled on the Saturday doubleheader was scratched. Is it possible he might get called up to pitch Monday?

yeah, he was terrible. I was there and everytime he threw the fastball they bopped it into the outfield, and Richmond is not very good, no really great prospects

however, Hansen pitched pretty well, 2.2 IP, no ER or R, 1 BB, K, 1 H allowed i think

 

Hee-Sop Choi had the big 2 run homer to win the game for the Pawsox

Murphy had a bad night to say the least. He could not adjust to hit them.

Pedroia is looking very good, he went 3-4 i think and he also made two very nice defensive plays, his range is improving.
