I can honetly say, without reservation, that Alex Gonzalez is one of the worst hitters the Red Sox have ever had. He is constantly down -0-2..1-2... He is always hacking at anything near the zone...then he has to try and hit "pitcher's" pitches. He is absolutely clueless. He may be the worst hitter in baseball.

I knew that was the angle. Doesn't make sense to bring it up though, since Mo and Proctor have pitched 3 innings the last 2 days and Farnsworth is questionable with a swollen vagina. After that you've got Villone, a mediocre lefty, a LOOGY, and Colter Bean, a 29 y/o finally breaking out of AAA.

BUT, Proctor and Mo wont be used tonight, I believe. Joe likes to shut people down prior to a game, and I have a feeling that neither Mo nor Proctor will get used......

We've been seeing the bad Wily Mo for a while now.

 

sorry I disagree on that, last night he was 2 for 4 to bounce back from an 0 for 4 game the night before

 

Last 10 games, 11 for 35 (.313 avg) 1 Double, 1 HR, 8 RBIs, 4 Runs, 5 Walks

 

Overall in 14 games of May he's batting at a .353 clip with 1 HR, 11 RBIs

You hope.. I mean they way the Sox have bitchified MO in recent years..I doubt he wants to be anything but 100% fresh when facing his Daddy.

have you seen his recent record vs you? He has OWNED the sox from 05 on...

 

1-1 2.13ERA 6-8 in save opps, 6 consecutive currently...

Owned? Hardly..from 2005 on?lol 1 season? He hasn't owned us this year. As a matter of fact he came in and graciously allowed us to score an insurance run in his last appearance vs. the Sox.

And since when is 6-8 in save opp's owning someone? I like how you conveniently cut off after 2004..lol. What Papelbon is doing to the Yankees and everyone else in Baseball is OWNING.
