Bernie suspension?

They just pointed out on YES that last night was the first time Bernie has ever been ejected from a game.

 

I'm not usually in favor of this happening, but his reputation should get him off the hook in this case. He's one of the all-time nice guys in the league and I don't think you can think there was any bad intent.

I thought he was suspended for arguing and ejected for throwing his helmet?

He was suspended for "A confrontation with an umpire" because of how heated he got. I think it's fair to say though that if he doesnt slam the helmet down, he's not suspended. But also, if he just walks away and doesnt get in the umpire's face, he probably doesnt get suspended either.

 

No way Bernie gets suspended.

 

There might have been a slight bump which is why he got the 2 games.

Bernie Shouldn't get anything, he is a class act. People like a-rod throwing helmets should be suspended to prove that their money is not invincible, yea bernie makes some dough but he is a nice enough guy, un like suck-rod and randy johnson
